FEXP Expander

The expander is mainly applicable to feed industry and edible oil industry, and can be used to produce livestock feed, Suckling pig feed, chicken feed, and so on. In the pretreatment of oil, it can be used to expand soybean and rapeseed, which can greatly improve the leaching rate of oil.

It can improve feed conversion and starch gelatinization degree, and make the feed more digestible and absorbed by animals;

More cheap raw materials can be used to produce extruded feed;

Can kill Salmonella and other harmful bacteria in raw materials;

For the expander, the material achieves the expansion effect through extrusion, friction, and shearing when the material is through the screw, the screw sleeve, and the discharge outlet. The force can be controlled by the hydraulic system to adjust the clearance of the discharge outlet ring to achieve. The feeding temperature is around 95 ~ 140℃.

When the material is discharged from the expander, the high temperature and high pressure are suddenly released, the water flashes, the heat volatilizes, and the material expands into a porous and loose product.
